How do I create a listing?

When you sell, you create a listing in five steps and publish it. It is live straight away: nobody reviews it first.

1. Category. Pick what the item is.
2. Photos. Add 1 to 12 photographs.
3. Details. Answer the questions for that category, such as brand, model and size, then the condition and, if you like, the colour.
4. Price. First say where the item is, by picking its town or postal code. Then enter the price.
5. Description. Check the title, which is drafted from your answers, and add a description if you want one.

Then press Publish listing. Your listing's page opens.

Where to start

You need to be logged in. Press Sell gear in the header, or open Selling from your account menu.

What you do not set

The shipping fee. Tack-o-Tack sets it from the category and the route. See How is the shipping fee calculated?

Before anyone can buy it

Your listing can be published before you set up your Stripe Payout Account, but nobody can buy it until you do. See Why does my listing show Not buyable yet?

If your account has no nickname yet, you are asked for one before your first listing goes live.
